High-Speed Boundary Layer Transition

The symposium will include a wide range of topics relevant to laminar to turbulent transition for high-speed flows at edge Mach numbers M>1  covering the different stages of the natural transition process, starting with the receptivity stage all the way to nonlinear breakdown. The symposium will also include contributions on alternative paths to transition, such as bypass transition, non-modal growth, etc., as well as active and passive ways of manipulating the transition process. Moreover, we expect contributions which cover different effects on transition, such as particle-laden flows, ablation, and fluid-structure interaction. Contributions from theoretical, computational and experimental studies will be part of the symposium.
